The World Human Rights Protection Commissions (WHRPC) and the United Nations’ Honorary Doctorate Award Council (USA) have awarded honorary doctorate in the field of Martial Arts (Kalaripayattu & Adimurai) to Jijo MG.The doctorate degree was given based on his thesis and his experience. The Honorary Doctorate Award Convocation was organised by WHRPC .

The profile of Jijo MG was selected and nominated for awarding the honorary doctorate in the field of Martial Arts by WHRPC after deep examination of his experience, dedication and all his activities in the field of Martial Arts.
